Hillside Bed & Breakfast offered my family a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere during our recent stay. The rooms were recently modernized, providing ample space and cleanliness that made settling in easy. Our request for a sea-view room was granted, and the stunning vistas were a lovely touch to our mornings. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of options that catered to all ages, from cereals and juices to a hearty cooked meal. The experience was enhanced by the staff's attentiveness-though we encountered minor lapses in communication, they quickly resolved any issues, showcasing a willingness to help. The hotel also boasts a small bar area, though we didn't utilize it much. Dunbar itself has limited attractions, yet the proximity to Edinburgh made it a convenient base for our adventures. We enjoyed local dining experiences, particularly at the hotel where my family relished the steak and ale pie and delectable desserts. While a few areas could benefit from updates-a fresh coat of paint outside and improved Wi-Fi-we genuinely appreciated our four-day stay. For families seeking a straightforward and personable accommodation, Hillside Bed & Breakfast proves to be a solid choice.
